Having traveled to 26 U.S. states and 14 international countries, I have finally decided to put my eight years of experience traveling with children to good use. I’ll find you accommodations for families of four or more, help you prepare for the logistics of traveling with young children (car rentals, public transportation, flights), and recommend kid-friendly activities that won’t bore the adults in the group.
I’m also a first-generation Irish American with deep roots in County Sligo (surname Mullarkey). So in addition to offering my advisory services, I custom-build family-friendly itineraries for visitors to Ireland, with a focus on destinations along the Wild Atlantic Way. My itineraries include accommodation recommendations, EV charging locations/speeds/reliability, what to see and do in the area, and any need-to-know logistics to make your visit smooth and fun.
EV Road Trips Author
Becoming an EV owner has made me a road tripper. And that fact often surprises people. I’ve road-tripped in an EV with my husband, two young kids, and a hound dog, traveling roughly 15,000 miles across a dozen states from New York to Florida and as far west as Louisiana. I used that experience to write a #1 New Release book about it, published in June 2026.

I’m an MFA-trained writer with a BA in Professional Writing. I spent 18 years writing content for weekly retail financial health newsletters, and that habit didn’t go away when I was laid off in April 2026. So I started this blog to write about family travel and EV road trips, which are my passions. I use this blog to demonstrate my knowledge, build trust with potential clients, and keep me busy in between jobs.
